He refers to long-breath diet. It’s actually a technique where you stand in position, take a 3-second breath, and then exhale strongly for 7 seconds.

Does This Breathing Technique Actually Work?

Deep breathing technique can provide our body with oxygen. Of course, it is not replacement for exercise. But it’s a great start or first step for women who just began with an exercise plan. Deep breathing increases the benefits of any form of exercise. The oxygen in fact absorbs nutrients and can help the body get rid of toxins. At the end, that can lead to weight loss.

One research made at Hampton University found that this combination of deep breathing and yoga exercises helped overweight teens easily lose weight. 60 high school teens were divided into 2 groups. The first group received 40 minutes of yoga and performed deep breathing exercises 4 times a week for 12 weeks. The second group stayed with their normal routine. The results were the following the group who practiced yoga and deep breathing exercises lost an average body weight of 2.7 kg or 6 pounds with no daily restrictions of caloric intake.

How Correctly To Perform The Exercise

  • Stand with one leg forward and the other back
  • Strain your glute muscles while transferring your weight to your back foot
  • While lifting your arms above your head, slowly inhale for 3 seconds
  • Exhale carefully and forcefully for 7 seconds while straining all of the muscles of the body.

Every day for 3-10 minutes do this exercise. It will “give” your body the opportunity to use more oxygen. It will help you easily burn fat, and it will increase your metabolism. Also it will strengthen your muscle!
