Straighten your Hair with Milk

Fill a spray bottle with 1/3 cup of milk. Milk is possibly the best hair straightener, but the thicker the milk is, the better. Though it’s questionable, some believe that coconut milk has extra straightening power.
If you do use coconut milk, combine it with lemon juice from half a lemon. While this won’t leave you with perfectly straight hair, it will help eliminate frizz and reduce “flyaways.” Mix one cup of coconut milk with some lemon juice and store them in the refrigerator for a few hours. Apply the mixture to hair and let it sit for 45 minutes to an hour, then rinse and wash as usual. This recipe will help tame wavy hair.Follow the rest of the directions as normal.
You could also add a bit of honey, strawberry, or banana to your mixture. Just stir it up well and take in the extra moisturizing powers of the honey or fruit (and the better smell).Powdered milk is a cheaper alternative — and it won’t go bad as quickly!
Spray the milk all over your hair.Spray evenly on dry or damp hair. Remember that you need to condition all of your your tresses.Thoroughly saturate your entire head. spray enough on the scalp as well as the hair tips being sure the tips are just as milky as the roots.Spray on the top, flip your head over, and spray from the bottom. Then spray from the middle and sides, especially if you have layers.
Use a wide-toothed comb to untangle your hair. Do not let your hair curl up or get frizzy as it may trap milk, which will solidify and be a pain to remove later.
Regularly massaging your scalp, let it sit for 20 minutes. The milk needs time to soak into each shaft of hair and weigh it down, straightening it. This is a great time to exfoliate, paint your toes, or shave your legs! You can perform other chores in the meanwhile.
Rinse your hair thoroughly, so that you do not smell of milk later! Shampoo and condition as usual.
Let the hair dry. If you have wavy hair, the milk mask will work like magic and straighten it. However, if you have curly mane, it will soften and condition your curls.
