Seal Wood Scratches With a Walnut

You can easily cover up scratches on wood furniture by using this simple technique with a walnut. Continue reading if you want to learn how to use this clever little snack to do more than just improve your cholesterol.




You will need a soft cloth and a walnut.

Step 1: Remove a large piece of nut from the shell. Start by rubbing it in a circular motion across the length of the scratch, from one end to other. Rub it back and forth several times.

Pecans, almonds, and Brazil nuts are optional.

Step 2: Now start rubbing the damaged area with your fingers to warm the area.

 




Step 3: Leave the scratch for several minutes. Watch in amazement as the damaged area begins to darken. While waiting, you’re free to eat some of the walnuts if you like… or not! Meanwhile the natural oils in the nuts will be seeping into the wood, helping to heal the ugly wound.

Step 4: At this point, take a soft cloth and polish the area. Next you will see that the scratch has disappeared.
