Dave Asprey is an American entrepreneur, businessman and author of New York Times bestseller The Bulletproof Diet, is a Silicon Valley investor and technology entrepreneur who spent two decades and over $300,000 to hack his own biology.
Dave lost 100 pounds without counting calories or excessive exercise with a simple recipe. Dave Asprey shared his recipe for the so-called “Bulletproof” coffee two years became a hit worldwide. Such a coffee apparently it helped to weaken 40 pounds!
This popular recipe Bulletproof Coffee, which contains three ingredients: unsalted grass-fed butter, Brain Octane oil (extracted from coconut and palm kernels), and coffee made with mold-free, lab-tested beans. He named it Bulletproof because “bulletproof” is the state of high performance where you take control of and improve your biochemistry.
Although Bulletproof Coffee may have as many as 460 calories per cup, Asprey says he shed 80 lbs when he made it his sole item for breakfast.
Asprey’s theory is that the fat content of his concoction not only turns off hunger cravings but also shifts the bacteria in your gut so you have more of the kind that’s found in thin people and less of the variety found in the obese.
2 cups of coffee;
2 spoons of non-salty butter (you may use more, but not above 80 grams);
1-2 spoons of coconut oil.
How to prepare it: in your usual dose of coffee add a little butter and a bit of coconut oil as desired and mix them all together in a blender so that you get a creamy consistency.
What is the secret of this drink?
It is actually the high concentration of fat which extends the time for digestion of caffeine, resulting in a higher level of energy that should be felt during the day. The long-lasting feeling of safety is recommended to people who struggle with excess weight. Besides that, this is one delicious drink and contains fewer mycotoxins. MCTs found in coconut oil are beneficial for weight loss since they are metabolized very quickly in the liver, where they are burned as fuel rather than stored as body fat.
